Pastoral care in PY focuses on cultivating an environment that supports the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of every student.
We believe every child is unique, as are their needs. Our endeavour is to enable each student to thrive, grow and realise their full potential in all aspects of their education and overall development.
Pastoral care is given a high priority with class teachers working closely with our pastoral team and parents to ensure every child is safe and happy.
In PY, we believe in the power of positive and frequent praise for good and caring behaviour. We want students to enjoy life and be happy and aim to achieve this through the specific teaching of good behaviour values and the IB learner profile attributes.
