At TISB, the pastoral care of our students is of primary importance. We are committed to providing a safe, caring, and nurturing environment for all our boarders.
The pastoral team, headed by the Deputy Principal Pastoral, ensures that the emotional, physical, social, and mental well-being of our students is always supported. This helps new boarders settle into their environment while adjusting to the structure and rigour of TISB Boarding. Regular awareness sessions led by the Deputy Principal Pastoral and School Counselors address topics such as anti-bullying, anti-vaping, digital safety, and healthy lifestyle practices, ensuring that all students feel secure, respected, and valued.
Our staff both boarding and teaching—are approachable and encourage students to share any concerns. In addition, TISB has a dedicated Pastoral Coordinator and School Counselors available for confidential support.
Students at TISB have access to full-time counselors who provide confidential guidance and emotional support. They play a vital role in promoting student well-being, resilience, and positive mental health.
