Application Procedure
We hold ourselves to a high standard of effective recruiting practices with specific attention to child protection. All applicants are subject to a rigorous screening process that includes verification of qualifications, obtaining two supervisory references (including current employer's) and obtaining current and previous Police Checks. Primary Years Teacher
The international School Bangalore is the premier co-educational HMC boarding school in India. We require dynamic, able and experienced Primary Years Teachers to join our school in July 2022.
Those appointed will have a minimum of two years teaching experience and a passion for learning. A knowledge of the Cambridge International Primary Programme or IB PYP would be an added advantage as our blended curriculum supports both approaches to learning. Having an extensive knowledge of current best practices and outstanding inter-personal skills are a must. An openness to understanding the complexities and demands of a multicultural school in an Indian setting is required as our children come from a diverse global community.
Classroom practitioners appointed will have experience of supporting students with diverse pastoral needs in a post-pandemic classroom and be skilled at adapting their learning environment and teaching style to accommodate this. A leadership responsibility for a subject or as a pastoral lead could be available for the right candidate, so if you have been leading an area or hold a whole school responsibility, this should be showcased in your application.
