We hold ourselves to a high standard of effective recruiting practices with specific attention to child protection. Senior School French Teacher

Experience:

Minimum 2 years in teaching French to higher grades, IGCSE and IBDP experience preferred.

Education:

Post Graduate/Graduate/Candidate must be C1 certified

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher to join our French Department. The successful candidate should be comfortable teaching students from Grade 6 through to IGCSE and IBDP. A willingness to be fully involved in the extra-curricular life of a busy boarding school is essential. 

Position description:  

The teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and challenging French language lessons to students from Grade 6 through to IGCSE and IBDP levels, as assigned by the Principal and timetabled by the school. 

He/she works as part of the French Department team to design and implement effective teaching and learning programs, with a focus on promoting language acquisition, intercultural understanding, and academic achievement.

The teacher actively promotes and reinforces the TISB Vision and Mission, and demonstrates a high standard of professional responsibility at all times. They serve as a positive and professional role model, demonstrating expertise in their subject area and building strong, respectful relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community.

CHEMISTRY LAB TECHNICIAN

We are inviting applications for the position of Chemistry Lab Technician in the AY 2025-26 to join our vibrant Chemistry Department. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with IGCSE and IBDP experience to contribute to a dynamic academic environment.

Experience Required:

Minimum 2 years working as a Lab Technician in a school or educational institution.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Degree in Chemistry.
  • B.Ed. preferred.

Position Overview:
The Chemistry Lab Technician plays a vital role in supporting the effective delivery of the Cambridge IGCSE and IBDP Chemistry curriculum. Key responsibilities include the preparation, organization, and maintenance of laboratory equipment and chemicals, ensuring that all practical sessions are conducted safely, efficiently, and in alignment with curriculum requirements.

Position: Experienced French Teacher for Primary Years (July 2025)

We are seeking a passionate and experienced French Teacher to join our vibrant Language Department at TISB for the upcoming academic year. Key Requirements:

Experience:

At least 4 years teaching French to Primary Years students. Experience with the PYP curriculum is a plus.

Education:

Post Graduate/Graduate in French or related field, with C1 certification in French. A B.Ed. qualification is also required.

Position Overview: 

The successful candidate will deliver engaging, dynamic French lessons from Pre-KG to Grade 5, contributing to the development of language skills, intercultural understanding, and academic success. The role also involves being actively involved in the extracurricular life of our busy boarding school.

  • To oversee, manage and provide accountability for the whole school contracts
  • Manage Security, Transport, Landscaping, Pest Control, Catering, Housekeeping
  • Provide day-to-day management of the Estates team
  • Contributing to the short, medium and long term strategic development of the Estates Plan and leading the implementation of these plans
  • Develop environmentally sustainable initiatives in all aspects of the TISB campus
