Application Procedure

We hold ourselves to a high standard of effective recruiting practices with specific attention to child protection. CHEMISTRY LAB TECHNICIAN

We are inviting applications for the position of Chemistry Lab Technician in the AY 2025-26 to join our vibrant Chemistry Department. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with IGCSE and IBDP experience to contribute to a dynamic academic environment.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 2 years working as a Lab Technician in a school or educational institution.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Degree in Chemistry.
  • B.Ed. preferred.

Position Overview:
The Chemistry Lab Technician plays a vital role in supporting the effective delivery of the Cambridge IGCSE and IBDP Chemistry curriculum. Key responsibilities include the preparation, organization, and maintenance of laboratory equipment and chemicals, ensuring that all practical sessions are conducted safely, efficiently, and in alignment with curriculum requirements.

Working closely with Chemistry teachers, the Technician will:

  • Promote a safe and engaging learning environment.
  • Implement best practices in chemical handling, storage, and waste disposal.
  • Provide technical support for practical lessons and student project work.

Candidate Profile:
We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates:

  • Familiarity with IGCSE/IB Chemistry practicals.
  • A strong understanding of laboratory safety and chemical handling procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills for maintaining lab equipment, chemicals, and inventory.

MATHEMATICS TEACHER

We are inviting applications for the position of Secondary Mathematics Teacher to join our thriving Mathematics Department.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Mathematics to higher grades, with specific experience in IGCSE and IBDP.

Educational Qualifications:

  • PhD / M.Phil / Postgraduate Degree in Mathematics.
  • B.Ed., PGDIE, or CIDTL preferred.

Position Overview:
The Mathematics Teacher will be responsible for delivering the Cambridge IGCSE and IBDP curriculum across various grade levels, as assigned by the Principal and scheduled by the school.
Working collaboratively within the department, the teacher will develop effective teaching and learning programmes aimed at enhancing student engagement and achievement.

The ideal candidate will:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Campus Operations Manager to join our Estates Department. The successful candidate should be comfortable managing Estates related jobs in the life of a busy boarding school is essential.  

 

Position description:

  • To oversee, manage and provide accountability for the whole school contracts
  • Manage Security, Transport, Landscaping, Pest Control, Catering, Housekeeping
  • Provide day-to-day management of the Estates team
  • Contributing to the short, medium and long term strategic development of the Estates Plan and leading the implementation of these plans
  • Develop environmentally sustainable initiatives in all aspects of the TISB campus
