The beauty about this place lies in the fact that you’re always on the run. In these two years I have never found myself out of work – And I enjoyed every minute of it. TISB does bring out the best in you. I came in as all others, with a set of talents I probably had not paid heed to – TISB got me to realize my potential. What makes TISB great is the fact that it gives you incredible amount credit for your work, and the impetus to go on.
TISB was a revelation for my leadership skills, whether it was representing my school with pride at the Boston Model United Nations or participating in the Hong Kong Business Competition, it was all possible only for TISB had its support in the backing. It has been a fantastic environment that has taught me to strike the right balance between academics and co-curricular, something I will need in the years to come.
Teachers always motivate us to excel, probably one reason why TISB has such brilliant university placements. Why the school stands out is because all students here have an ambition, to reach soaring heights in their respective fields. I entered the gates of TISB to find myself in a different world, a world where there is no dearth for excellence and potential, a world that truly makes global citizens.
Sahaan Hattangadi, Head Boy
IB Batch of 2010
It was when I was chosen to lead a caucus of thirty of the best and brightest students from all over the world that I realized the qualities that made me capable for such a post were the ones that were inculcated in me by TISB.
TISB is where I discovered that I had the potential to go beyond what I had previously considered my personal limits. Here, every day is an exciting day because I have an opportunity to experience something new. One of these new experiences is drama. I chose drama because I wanted to try something different from the norm. What I did not expect was to find a passion for drama within me. My appointment as the Head of House was another new experience for me. I learnt a great deal from this position of leadership which I am sure will serve me in good stead in the future. Today I am proud to be one of the office bearers of TISB thus giving me the opportunity to lead and to serve. Along with my other activities, the rigorous curriculum of IB has helped me learn how to multitask. TISB is a place of equality and diversity. Living in an international community prepares me to become a global citizen. I learnt to believe that I can make a difference in a greater international community.

TISB - A home away from home
From drama to sports to Model United Nations conferences to CAS trips, TISB is every student's playground. My eyes feasted on the spread before me and in a matter of seconds, I was scribbling my name furiously on every sign up sheet on the notice board. I was able to experiment everything available on the platter which taught me how to multi-task. My passion for dance was first brought out during VIVUM 08, an inter-school fest organized solely by the student body. It proved to be the base for many of the amazing performances that followed. In TISB, it is never too late to experiment a new activity and so I was soon a part of the drama club and not much later, a part of the MUN club that competed at Boston University.
This did not stop me from stepping out onto the evergreen football field and the inviting swimming pool because sports definitely are an integral part of any youth's life. These opportunities came with tiny packages of life learning experiences. Growing as a global citizen as well as a healthy individual would be the most apt description of my experience. Quick at the feet, managing crisis situations as well as keeping the status-quo are situations one learns to handle and tackle as a student. With a cultural diversity such we have at TISB, social networking is easier. A comfortable boarding environment unifies Koreans, Germans, Indians , etc. all under one roof and proves to be a home away from home.
A friend once told me that the most unassuming things in life can make you happy if you are ready to gain a new perspective. This statement materialized itself in TISB. With its excellent academic record, it provides a first class education as well as a firm foundation for budding engineers, artists and many more professions. It has brought out a positive change in me giving me a fresh new perspective to life. It certainly made the headlines of my newspaper and very recently the headlines of The Times of India attaining the title of the Best International School in the World. I'm sure that this is proof enough that it is capable of making your headlines as well.

I will always cherish my years at TISB as the most fruitful, enjoyable and fulfilling ones. TISB was an indispensable chapter in my life, which truly brought out the best in me. The internationality on campus life and the environment was inspiring to motivate free expression and learning. I was able to strike a balance between academics and co-curricular activities. The discipline, IB curriculum, ties of friendship and the skills that I acquired at school will stand me in good stead for a lifetime.
Kriti Saraf, Head Girl (now at University College, London)

TISB has helped me shape my goals and create a vision and it provided me with the necessary guidance and opportunities to achieve them. The international environment and academic curriculum provided by TISB formed an excellent buffer system for me to move from the Indian setting to the American one. TISB can really be a major turning point in a very long and interesting academic career.
Jayati Jain (now at Oxford University)

I have fond memories of TISB. I had the good fortune of having excellent teachers who were encouraging and inspirational. I also made good friends with whom I continue to keep in touch.
It was only when I entered university that I gained a full realization of how comprehensive and challenging the IB programme was compared to others. It had placed me at a distinct advantage compared to my colleagues who had been through other systems.
