The emphasis at TISB is on education and not only on syllabi. The school is committed to an international education in order to allow the children maximum versatility in their future lives.
The early years (3 to 10 year olds) follow a system that couples the British National Curriculum with an enquiry-based process in learning. The core subjects are emphasized and the curriculum is enriched with a transdisciplinary process that prepares young students to be self-confident and respectful of other cultures.
This is followed by the early Secondary Years (11 to 15 year olds) when the students’ activities are increasingly discipline-based in preparation for the Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) Examination in Grade X.
The last two years of school follow the IB Diploma Programme. This is an exciting broad-based programme that combines rigorous academic studies with creative work and social interaction. The IB Diploma Course will open doors to the most prestigious universities worldwide.
There is a great deal of insistence on researched learning and well-documented study systems are given importance. TISB offers quality education that compares well with international schools across the world and with leading institutions everywhere.
