Press Corps

Dear Delegates,

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you all to TISBMUN 2012. My name is Akshith Reddy and I will be the Editor-In-Chief for the Press Corps. I am currently studying in grade 11 at TISB. Since a long time I have been very passionate about Model United Nations and at TISBMUN I wish to explore this passion further.

The Press Corps is an integral part of any MUN conference as it is the one organization that is truly beyond any political influence or bias. I believe that the press is the epitome of the "freedom of speech" ideal.

At TISBMUN members of the Press Corps will get an opportunity to observe all the different MUN committees that TISBMUN has to offer. Members will have a chance to interact with delegates as well as the members of the Secretariat. They will then use the information gathered from these interactions to publish one edition of a newspaper for each day of the conference.

So if you think you have a passion for journalism and debating, then I look forward to meeting you in January.
